How to Merge PDF Files Without Uploading Them
The short version
Open the Merge PDF tool, add your files, drag them into order and press Merge files. The combined PDF downloads straight to your device. Nothing is sent to a server.
Get the order right first
Name your files so they sort sensibly, then add them together. If you add them in the wrong order, drag the handle at the left of a file to move it. The list is the final page order, top to bottom.
What is kept and what is not
Pages, text and images are copied exactly. Interactive form fields and bookmarks from the source files may not carry over, because they belong to each original document rather than to the new combined one. If you need a table of contents, add page numbers afterwards and write the contents on the first page.
When the result is too big
Merged files add up in size. Run the result through Compress PDF before emailing it. Try Optimize first because it keeps text selectable.
Password protected files
If one of your files is locked, the tool asks for its password and continues. The password is used in your browser only.
