Terms of Use
Simple terms for using the 76 PDF tools.
Using 76 PDF
76 PDF provides free PDF tools that run in your browser. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
Provided as is
The tools are provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. We work to make them reliable, but we cannot promise that every PDF will be processed correctly or that the site will always be available. Keep a copy of your original file and check the result before you rely on it.
Your files and responsibility
You are responsible for the files you process and for having the right to use and change them. Do not use the tools for anything unlawful.
Passwords
When you protect a PDF with a password, we cannot recover that password for you because it never leaves your device. If you lose it, the file cannot be opened. The Unlock tool only works if you can provide the correct password or if the file has no password to open it.
Signatures
The signature and editing tools place an image or text on your PDF. They do not provide a certified digital signature or guarantee that a document will be accepted as a legally binding signature by anyone. Check what the other party requires.
Editing text
The Edit PDF text tool covers old text and writes new text on top. By default edited pages are saved as images so the old text is removed, which makes the text on those pages unselectable. Review the result before sharing it.
Liability
To the extent allowed by law, 76 PDF is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from the use of, or inability to use, the site or the files it produces.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always on this page with its last updated date.
