Your documents stay on your device

Every tool on this website runs inside your web browser using JavaScript. Your PDF files, images, passwords and edits are never uploaded. When you pick a file it is read into your browser memory, processed there, and saved back to your device.

No file upload server

We do not operate a backend that can receive your documents. The website is a set of static files.

Analytics and cookies

We do not run analytics, we do not build advertising profiles and we do not set tracking cookies. The site stores a few preferences, such as your theme and an optional saved signature (only if you tick Remember on this device), in your browser's local storage. These never leave your device and you can clear them in your browser settings.

Hosting and server logs

The website is delivered through Cloudflare. As with any website host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in order to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. We do not use this information to identify you or to build profiles, and it does not include your files, because your files never reach the server.

Third party services

76 PDF loads all of its code and fonts from its own domain, so visitors are not tracked by font or script providers. The only outside service the site contacts is Web3Forms, and only when you send a message through the Contact form.

Contact form

If you use the Contact form, the name, email address and message you type are sent through Web3Forms so they can be delivered to us by email, and Web3Forms handles them under its own privacy policy. We use your message only to reply to you and to improve the site, and we keep it only as long as needed for that. Please do not put sensitive or confidential information in the form.

Offline use

After your first visit the site stores its files on your device so it can work without internet. You can clear this at any time in your browser settings.

Open source

76 PDF is built on open source software: PDF.js (Apache 2.0), pdf-lib (MIT), qpdf (Apache 2.0), JSZip (MIT), SortableJS (MIT), Lucide icons (ISC) and open fonts (SIL Open Font License).

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new last updated date.
